Might come out easier/cheaper just to buy a 94-95 Cobra if you need that many parts for one!

yes you may be right but I do not think of cars as being throw away objects. I have a built in desire to take what was once abused and bring it back to life. You may find that the automobile is a "point A to b thing " But I find it to be more. You have your opinion and I have mine. I have spent more money on a car than it would ever be worth ..... or so they say..... But who ever would have thouhgt that a 70 challenger r/t,s/e ,t/a car would demand over $60,000. You may say "I would sell it" And you may be right, I may be crazy: But I am Happy with my choice and you be happy with yours.
I am not asking your advise and you gave your opinion. I thank the ones who may help in the rebuild of this car. THank you!!

Vernon, I only made a simple suggestion in maybe trying to acquire what's known as a 'parts car'. Maybe even try to help you with the search of your parts as I am very partial to Cobras as well. What I said was NOT an attack on you or meant to be insulting in any matter. If you need to come here and boast about a '70 Challenger, I'll tell you that 70's Challegers were hot cars but this is a Parts-Wanted thread in a Ford Mustang forum.
It's apparent that by some of the comments you've made here (and in a couple of other forum threads) that you're tring to make a statement that maybe you don't like some of the things we've been trying at CCS. We're simply trying some interesting things and seeing what our paying members like because it is them that deserve the extra benefits of membership, and being able to be voted on by their peers, getting that little 'extra' assistance from fellow members in maybe getting help in finding parts (or parts cars).
It's apparent that you come here expecting to get the benefits of membership without any contributions whatsoever so why should anyone here assist you in any way? Because our members do try to help fellow Mustang owners regardless of situation you should try to be thankful. Just remember that next time you make any demands for phone numbers and/or messages from our members that might have something you want, that you can at least show some kind of respect for the services and resources we have to offer and not come here with an attitude towards people.
Good luck finding your parts!

Do you have any clue who I am? I think not. Paying members? Check out the name on the check that paid the membership. I made no demands on anybody. And as for your reply..... Think about it. It is funny how "I" have helped the members of this "CLUB" in many ways. I have promoted, helped, wrenched on their broken cars, gave money, advice, and friendship with no regards to any payback. At this time I and my direct family owns 28 mustangs. as to boasting on the challenger. I would have to say thet in 1976 I was lucky to find and buy a car that I not only wanted I "loved" Now 30 years later I still have the same car and still have the same passion. Unlike some of "us" who buy , thrash, and abuse .... then try and sell our "passion" I maintaind mine. I made my choice to turn down many offers for several of my cars, even when I needed the money. Why? Because in the world of automobile owners I am just that, an owner .
I use my knowlage of cars to promote the same in others. I do not use it as a base to put some one in "their" place.
Just so you know... The cobra is now the 4th that we own. It was a very nice car that was crashed 3 years ago and left for dead. Now I plan on bringing her back.
I also just found a car that was flooded in katrina..... Stipped to the bones. It was a family friends pride and joy I plan on putting it back together with a car I am getting from Canada.... why.. Because of the "passion" that this pile of parts brings to my good friend everytime he talks about it. That is the true car person ..... if you see that great.... it is something you do not just pick up at the local parts store. You can not just wake up and find it.... it is part of who you are or not....
