Free, Free, Free, Free Test and Tune!!!!!!!!

This Sunday 27th, 2007, Mr. Darrell Bryant is hosting the Imports vs Domestic drag at the Phenix City Drag Strip. Entry Fee is $20.

For CCS members and families, Entry fee is $10 and Test and Tune is Free. Yes, Test and Tune is Free.

Mr. Bryant is going to reserve a spot for us, CCS, and we have to be there at 12pm. You can leave at random if necessary. The gates open for the event at 11am and racing starts at 2pm.

I need a head count of who will be attending by This Wednesday the 23rd.. I also need to know the driver and the car that will be driven for test and tune so as I can give a roster to Mr. Bryant and he can let you Test and Tune for Free.

We will meet at Petsmart at 10:30, leaving at 11:30 to the Phenix Drag strip. This is a great invite to support a fellow stanger and the Drag Strip. I hope to make some amends and extend a hand.

will definitely be there... put me and HOLOPNT down as driver/car, and list my wife as a possible ride-along for the event (she's never been down the track before, would love to take her on a run once!) if she is not working that sunday...

Thanks for you efforts in trying to set this up. I think the timing is bad for a lot of people on the Memorial Day weekend.....I know it was for me. Maybe we should try to set up a CCS event to go out to the races, similar to what we had last fall. I know a week ago Friday there we a LOT of CCS people out at the track, at least 6 or 8 so I know there is interest.

This was a 3 day effort. There are a lot of folks and Orginizations that want the club to support them. Unfortunately, there notice to us is somethimes only a few days response.

I wish that more folks would show up to some of the events. Yes, today was bad, but in the past it appears to be the same efforts. Weather or not you race or participate doesn't matter sometimes, it's just the presentation. I don't care if Chip Foose is there with one car or three, when you roll up 20 strong, folks just come over to see sheer strength in numbers.

Thanks to all, Tom and friends, Joe and wife, wayne and child, Larry and Lisa, and Shawn for all that came out today. I was hoping for atleast 10, but as shown a few came. Thank you for your support.

Maybe someone can VOLUNTEER to earn a badge and set up a Drag Day, hum.

Thanks for a fun day, Lisa had her first run down a drag strip..she has the fever right now, but I think I will wear off in a few days...Had a good time...Thanks CCS..

I ran the HHR first got a 11.3573, when I ran the Mustang she was in the HHR and she ran a 11.3099. Boy is she happy about beating my time in the HHR......But she ran a 13.0371 and I ran a 10.0331 in the Mustang, technicaly I smashed her.....Ha....I mean It was close.. :D :rolleyes:

This is the first weekend this month i havnt been to the track....have to take one off sometime. Test N Tune is every Friday night at Reynolds and at PC, and the folks who are going usually post an invite in the performance events section...guess it will be in the guest events one now. Like Wayne says, the problem is getting folks together at the same time. Glad all who went out today had fun.
