Drag night!!!! Suggestions, and Learn Event.

I would like to extend an invite to the drag and performance junkies and members in the Club.

I would like to put together a CCS drag night where all members and guest, or drag interested, could come together with the performance and drag guys to help with information or dragging and dragstrips.

We could come together and help inform members and guest on how to go down the track and to encourage some of us to run.

This would be a teach, learn and do, get togther. This is serious.

If we can get enough members and or folks to attend, I will ask Mr. Brian Gordy, track manager, to give us a discount on running.

Voice all oppinions here and date / time of interest. This would be roughly a month from now so as we may inform and update club members and website. :)

We did do this in the old days, usually on a Friday or Saturday evening. Petsmart at 6:30 leave and go to the track at around 7:00 PM.
Go into the track park, Go to tower fill out and sign your Tech Card, place the numbers on the car and then we would help one another in the lanes.
Get ya thru the burn out box if you had Drag radials or Slicks, if not bypass water box do alittle burnout to get the stuff off your tires and then we would get you lined up in the groove.
We also discussed the tree to those who did not know how it worked and then you were out and on your own.
It worked great and a lot of folks had fun and enjoyed running their cars down the track!!!

yay TEACH ME !!!! I WANNA DO IT .... and if twe can cause i have graduation this friday and its supposed to rain.. so i say thats where we cruise to the next cruise in MAY 30 !!! JUST A SUGGESTION

I am not sure if I can make it on the 30th as of now, I am having a minor surgery at VA that day, not sure if I will be back from VA in time (Montgomery), but if I am I am game....We gonna turn Peanut (Kelli) into a little drag racer chick , ROFLMAO!
It is very addictive once you do it!!!!! Plus you do not posess any bad habits that need to be broken since you have never done it before, that makes you easier to teach.

im game too, i need to get more passes in and me and jc need to get some more runs in...which by the way I HAVE THIS FRIDAY OFF AND ITS PAYDAY!!! woohoo just a lil note, they do not allow people to ride with you anymore as i found out last friday when i took brandi for a pass, not to mention the fact that i punched it in first and went no where:-( i looked like an idiot

May 30th Cruise will be set for this adventure. See if you can come. There has been a lot of support for this event.

You can run in anything. But, for safty, long sleeve and pants.
