Like you don't know.. I did go to TnT. Made one run, low 13's. Met some new friends that I'd been chatting with on 'Net. Broke another belt 5 miles out of Columbus on way back..

Time to buy some stock in Gates Belts huh Ed?
Actually been running NAPA belts. They've been replacing them for free! Going to park the Snake for a while until I can get the pulley issues addressed. Also waiting to get the fuel system upgrades I have planned so that can be installed during that time and also at that time address the problem I've been having with the IMRCs. Car actually ran great there and the part of the way back. Coming back that night with the top down and basically idling back in 6th gear, that thing was purring beautifully and I thought, this is sweeeeeet! About that time the belt let go.. Go Figure!

Is it an allignment issue, or are you overpowering the belt and tearing it? Do you have an over or underdrive crank pulley? whats the blower raito and max boost?
Just figured maybe I could help resolve it
Alignment issues. Overdrive crank w/ 2.8" blower pulley. Should be 15lbs boost.

the blower is throwing it all off then right? Because the factory accessories should line up well
Is there any way to add another belt strictly for the blower?
No there doesn't appear to be a way to do that. What I'm thinking is using some kind of shim behind the pulley of the SC and a slight mod to the arm that holds the idler pulley into place and that should line things up better.
Then again I could just take that crap off, sell it and fix the car up N/A.

Whats next should that be the case?
After some discussion with my mechanic friend and running ideas through each other's heads, we're going to shim the SC pulley first and test for belt rubbing. If we're successful on that end then we'll look at the idler pulley underneath it and determine what needs to be done there if necessary. Once we've successfully gotten the belt issue straightened out, then we're pulling off the intake and removing the butterflies from the IMRCs which will result in the car running on 32v at all RPMs which probably won't be a bad route to go being the car has forced induction.
I have received my 42lb injectors which will also be installed during this time as well. The next item will be having some subframe connectors installed then I will return to MPH for Tim to hopefully finish the tuning on the car. I'm still contemplating fuel pump improvements with a 255lph in-tank pump as well as a 255lph inline pump to keep the proper fuel pressure. We're eliminating the Vortech Fuel Management Unit and running the lines straight to the rails and return line.
With a little luck, I'm hoping the car will be ready for the Mustang Drag Meet two weeks from this Sunday (September 17th) but we're going to concentrate on getting the car right first before I go and run it any more. The main thing I'm shooting for is the Ford vs. Chevy meet at Reynolds in November and hopefully I can nail some mid-low 11's at that time. (JC, get those MT's ready!)

dosent the Vortech unit control fuel pressure poroprtionate to boost? I think you may want to consider keeping that. running the pumps inline like you said should give you about 150+PSI max fuel pressure, that should be more than plenty for the boost level your running. seeing how you said your running about 2 bar absolute, 80PSI under max boost should be about what you want. (that keeps the injector spray patterns about the same)
